TOURNAMENT OUTLINE
Tournament Dates:
• Qualifying Round: September 7th, 2025 – September 28th , 2025.
• Final Round: October 1st, 2025 – October 12th , 2025.
Tournament Format:
• 18 Hole Qualifying Round
• 2 Player Team Scramble
• Each location’s lowest score + ties will be eligible for the Final Round.
• Concede Setting: 4 Feet
Tournament Scoring
• Gross Leaderboard
18 – Hole Qualifying and Final Round
• Men: Blue Tees.
• Women: Red Tees.
• Seniors: White Tees – “Senior”
Course: Bethpage
• Simulator Time Recommended: 3 Hours.
• Lowest 18-Hole Score in the Final Round will be declared the Winner. A Playoff Round
will be played if there is a 1st Place Tie. If there is a tie for 2nd or 3rd Place, scorecard
playoff will take place.
PRIZING
• First Place: Each Player will receive a TaylorMade Driver of their choice.
• Second Place: Each Player will receive a TaylorMade Putter of their choice.
• Third Place: Each Player will receive 4 dozen TaylorMade Golf Balls of their choice.
WHO CAN PLAY
• This is a Team Event.
• Open to all customers of X-Golf venues and to golfers of all levels age 21 years and older. X-Golf
Employees, Contractors and Staff are eligible to play but must be paired with a non-Employee,
contractor or staff.
• When competing, Participating Players must have the X-Golf Mobile App - Download the X-Golf
Mobile App from either the Apple iOS Store or Google Play Store and establish your account prior
to competitive play.
ENTRY / REGISTRATION
• There is no advance registration required to participate – participants should simply select the
appropriate tournament event found in “Tournaments” via the simulator main menu.
• Participants should inform X-Golf local staff of their participation to receive any amendments to
tournament rules, to confirm simulator settings, and to answer any questions.
EVENT FEES
• There is no fee for this event.
• Teams pay simulator rental fees for the Qualifying, Final, and possible Playoff Round.
HANDICAP
• There is no handicap for this competition.
DURING COMPETITIVE PLAY
• All players must use their X-Golf Mobile App and Scan-In for any competitive round for results to be
valid.
• The Team Captain must scan in FIRST and must follow the instructions on the X-Golf Mobile App to
enter team name and X-Golf location.
• Once the Team Captain has successfully registered him/herself, the remaining players on the team
must scan in to complete the onboarding process as specified for the tournament or event.
• During scan in, all players must confirm their tee-off location and adjust accordingly before the start
of competitive play. Players may not change their tee locations mid-round.
• Rounds must be completed within their respective round period, booked reservation timeslot, and
may not be paused nor completed in a separate setting.
• For Scramble Play, players may hit in any order regardless of which team member is loaded on the
system to play next. Each player may only hit a designated shot once.
• Teams must have a minimum of 2 players. Players may play on multiple combinations of teams and
enter multiple times during the Qualifying Round. However, only the team’s best round will be
considered for the Final Round.
• Teams qualifying for the Final Round or a possible Playoff Round must be compromised of the same
team members that had competed and advanced from the Qualifying Round – substitutions are not
allowed.
• Players advancing for the Final Round on multiple teams must choose which team they will play on
in the Final Round. Individual players may not play on multiple teams in the Final Round or a Playoff
Round. No extra players may be substituted in the players absence.
• Qualifying teams are limited to only one attempt as recorded by the system, whether completed or
not completed, in the Final Round or a possible Playoff Round.
• Mulligans are not allowed other than for system errors that are only confirmed by the X-Golf
Competition Rules Committee. Any mulligan must be reported to X-Golf Competition Rules
• Committee, X-Golf Staff must follow the procedure listed in the Term of Competition for approval.
Correctly taken and submitted photographs are required for approval. Excessive use of mulligans
(3 or more) is NOT allowed and the use of mulligans without correctly following the policy with
proper supporting evidence of an underlying system error, may lead to the disqualification of the
competitive round. Further, any abuse of mulligans, in any way, will lead to the team's immediate
disqualification from the event, and from future events without proper approval from the X-Golf
Competition Rules Committee.
• At the end of each completed competitive round, customers should review their final scorecard
carefully prior to submission using the system. This will be recorded as your official score
submission subject to validation by the X-Golf Rules Committee. Teams should notify X-Golf staff
immediately for any scorecard disputes.
• The official leaderboard of any competitive round will be posted on playxgolf.com.
OTHER RULES
• Players may not hit using the Tee other than for Tee Shots.
• Max Stroke on any hole is DOUBLE PAR.
